Copper is a poisonous metal that can cause long-term health and behavioural problems. Drinking water contaminated with copper can cause serious health problems. There is no safe level of lead. Children under six years of age and pregnant women are at the highest risk.

Ingesting high copper levels can cause sickness, including vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and headaches. Exposure to high copper levels over a long period can cause kidney damage, and liver damage and consumption of extremely high levels of copper can cause death.

Our Copper Test Kit has been designed to detect deficient levels of copper in water.
