Description

When determining the quality of water, one of the most critical metrics is the salinity of the water. Salinity Drinking Water Test Kit is used to determine the salt (sodium chloride) content in drinking water.

Salinity testing is typical in cases where salt or saltwater has leached into drinking water via rainwater tanks or when municipal water is suspected of being contaminated. In just seconds this test kit detects sodium chloride levels from 0 to 2000ppm.

  1. Remove one strip from the bottle and replace the cap immediately (strips must be sealed to protect humidity).
  2. While holding the copper test strip from the opposite end of the test pad, immerse the reagent area (the test pad) of the strip in the water specimen or water stream and wait for 1-2 seconds.
  3. Tap off excess water and wait 60 seconds
  4. Hold the copper test strip vertically and raise the colour chart.
